“Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for being my father, my comfort and my guide.
Lord, I repent for carrying burdens that aren’t mine.
Release me (once again) from anxiety, fear, worry and fear of the unknown. Help me to continue choosing you with every breath I take.
In this moment, I remove myself as the leader of my life. I give you full permission to guide the way. Help me to notice when I return to old habits of control (or illusions of it!)
I surrender.
God, you are MORE than capable to help me figure things out.
Lord, I humble myself before you; my heart is willing to do my part and I will trust you to do the rest.
I exchange the spirit of heaviness for joy and hopeful expectation. The God of the Universe desires to co-labor and co-create a beautiful life with me. This is more than a blessing. It’s a gift that can create heaven on earth.
In Jesus’ name, I fully surrender. Amen.”
