One cannot love without giving---for love’s very nature is an active expression of the heart.
There’s nothing you can say or do or be that would convince me to love you more. You have my full heart and I freely pour out all I am and all I have on you, my precious daughter.
Reject the lie that perfection can earn my affection. My love is not shallow or fleeting. You are not my slave and when you choose the debilitating chains of performance, guilt and fear, it breaks my Father’s heart. I love you with a doting, everlasting love--nothing can separate you from this fact—unless you choose not to believe it.”
