Prayer for the Misfit
“Heavenly Father,
I’m ready to believe what you say is the actual truth. Forgive me for absorbing and believing the lies that I will never be good enough for you.
You created me for authentic relationship with you. I let go of every excuse that has erected a wall between us.
I’m ready to let you into every area of my heart; especially the places filled with shame and self-loathing.
Show me why you created me with these unique quirks. Instead of hiding away, let your spirit shine through me. In Jesus’ name, I exchange the spirit of heaviness for joy, peace and proper identity. Amen.”
