Heavenly Father,
Forgive me for my self-centeredness; for my love with being in-control.
This has restricted the way you want to move. I have limited YOU!
What wickedness and rebellion! Please extend your mercy and help me.
Lead me out of my utter selfishness and direct me into your abundant thinking—not for myself but for your kingdom.
I repent for waffling in fear and complacency which has arrested my own spiritual development.
You have so much love to give and life to live through me.
Help me, Lord. Not only for my sake but for my family and the people you’ve called me to.
Lord, you’ve called me to love. Period. I’ve been wounded by so many Believers, it’s hard to know who to trust.
I hear you asking me to love others and to trust YOU.
You’ve called me to live full of forgiveness and free of offense. This is the way of your kingdom. Help me to walk in it—not just talk it. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
