Prayer of surrender
“Dear Heavenly Father,
I surrender all my problems, worries, fears and insecurities to you. Heal any past wounds that are making it difficult to let go and trust you. Forgive me for always taking on the full burden of my life. Your love offers help and I’ve rejected that in favor of figuring things out on my own.
Thinking and reacting this way no longer serves me but, stepping out of this habit is scary. It makes me vulnerable. Right now, I reject fear, lack and fear of the unknown; for I know this will make room for your love and support.
Lord, show me a way through my problems and overwhelm. I am willing to see the lessons and learn through everything revealed to me. In Jesus’ name, I will do my part and lean on you to do the rest. Set me free, Lord. Amen.”
