Prayer of Repentance for Judging others
“Lord,
Forgive me for judging others as if I have no sin…
For the darkness I witness in others also resides within me.
Shame and fear have caused my eyes to look past my own faults while focusing deeply on other’s.
THIS is the very definition of hypocrisy.
Cleanse and purify my crooked heart.
Exchange my pride for your cloak of humility.
Remove every false justification which prevents me from seeing the truth. Self-deception has distorted my vision; restore my sight to seeing things as you do.
Today is a new day and I embrace YOUR way. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
