“Heavenly Father,
I come before you with a humble and grateful heart.
I’ve been striving to do good and to be worthy, but I’ll never measure up…to my standards or your holiness.
My lifestyle, choices and attitude, have opened doors of darkness and self-deception.
With you, I cannot hide.
You know exactly who I am deep inside.
Your Son was the perfect sacrifice, for without Him, there’s no bridge to freedom.
Lord, I accept Jesus’ free yet costly gift.
I don’t deserve this, but that won’t stop me from receiving it.
I repent for doing things my way and for trying to earn your grace.
Today, I bow my life to you.
Let the desires of your heart, become mine.
Wash me from the stain of my sins and show me my God-given purpose.
Baptize me in your Holy Spirit so I can be empowered to walk in your will and ways.
