“Lord,
Thank you for the gift of family. Thank you for every moment and memory shared.
Bless this household with peace and unity. Help each member to see each other through lenses of honor, love and respect.
Bless each generation to honor and learn from each other, give every member the humility and sense to see every person has something incredible to offer.
This family is a unique tapestry of gifts, strengths and abilities, separate and different; none more crucial than another’s. Bless each person to flourish in their strength so the whole family can function in cohesive beauty.
Bless hearts and conversations; move this family towards each other in together-ness. Let every spirit of pride, strife, division and unrest lose all power. Allow love, forgiveness, kindness, patience and gentleness to rule.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
