“Dear Heavenly Father,
The peace you give is everything my restless soul needs.
Lord, show me when I choose anxiety and fear over what you have to offer and help me to see the blessings in my life instead of focusing on what I don’t have.
Bring a song of gratitude to my heart that will break off depression and feelings of lack.
Today, you’re offering me the sun, a fresh start and an opportunity to re-new my mind. I thank you for each one.
Who needs to be blessed today? Show me and give me the means to do something about it!
Who is doing worse than I am? Give me a heart to step out of my dark shadow to bring a spark of light to another.
Take me out of the pits of despair and lead me into the paths of those who could use a friend.
As I meet the needs of others, fill my heart with your joy and I know that will strengthen me for tomorrow. When I rest my head at night, I’ll know I’ve met my purpose of building others up and creating positive change in a world hungry to experience goodness without strings attached.
