“The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear?” Psalm 27
-Fear is a false reality appearing real.
How does fear start? When we sit and dwell where God is not, fear can rule us.
“No weapon formed against you will prosper.” Isaiah 54:17
This means that the Enemy’s weapon against you is tailor-made just for you!
There is power in our FAITH! Faith-filled prayers actually combat fear. Believing and knowing God will move on your behalf, weakens the enemy’s attack. So keep on Praying and actually Believe what you pray!
Do not let fear own your:
Head
Heart
Words
Fear sounds like:
“What will happen next?”
“What does this say about you?”
“Where is God now?”
Fear cultivates worry and false projections into the future. When you allow Fear to take over, it will begin to speak on your behalf. Do not let fear take over your thoughts or tongue!
How do you counter this attack? Decree the opposite of what Fear is telling you. Find verses to back this up.
God’s word and your faith in it will destroy, uproot and dismantle the enemy’s Kingdom he wants to plant in your mind.
This is what the Bible says:
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21
“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:8
“My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.” Hosea 4:6
When the Spirit of fear comes for you, declare with faith in your mind, heart and mouth:
“God prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies. He anoints my head with oil; my cup overflows.” Psalm 23:5
Praise God for what He has already done for you:
- At the cross
- Personally
- The future plans, visions and words He’s given.
God will use Fear to Strengthen you against the forces of darkness.
Mediate on this verse:
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people!” Genesis 50:20
Can you not see when the enemy attacks you, you can expose his tactics to others so they can be set free?
God has given us Free Will to make choices. This is a big deal because choices always have outcomes.
This is my declaration but let it be an inspiration to write your own declaration of choice.
I choose to Believe in God.
I choose to Live for God.
I choose to Minister to God.
I choose to Worship God.
I choose to Talk to God.
I choose to Trust in God.
If you determine within yourself that this is how you will live, Fear may come but it won’t stay.
The enemy works to arrest your spiritual development with Worry and Fear so you never grow up in the Lord. The Devil does not want you spiritually mature, because then you become a threat to him. Fear is the tactic to steal your Purpose and Destiny.
God’s word says:
“God has not given us a Spirit of Fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 1 Timothy 1:7
We always have a choice to:
-Believe in God’s goodness or the lies of the enemy.
Even if your Faith is the size of a mustard seed, exercise your faith.
Prayer against Fear, Worry and Doubt:
“Heavenly Father,
I praise you for my freedom in Christ! I repent I’ve not taken full ownership of my rightful authority and inheritance.
I declare today is my Independence Day.
I’m coming out of agreement with the Spirit of Fear.
I choose to boy to my good Shephard. I choose to trust in you and depend on you to carry me through.
God has not given me a Spirit of Fear so I reject it in Jesus’ name!
Today, I choose to walk in my freedom and authority for God is good and He cares for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
