“Lord,
I’ve been over-thinking you. I’ve stepped out of the realm of the spirit and into the realm of knowledge.
Today, I reject RELIGION. I only want YOU. I want your spirit of truth to guide me’
I know you speak through your word.
I commit to allowing your Word to change me from the inside out.
I will not follow man, or any religious protocol to get to your heart.
I will trust the Holy Spirit within to guide me into all truth.
Clear out the cobwebs of confusion and give me clarity and discernment.
Bless me to find and sit under gentle leaders and teachers who don’t desire to control, manipulate or micro-manage. Send encouragers who will point the way to receiving the fullness of intimacy with you.
Lord, you alone are my provider, counselor, guide and protector. I will trust in your word and walk in its ways. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
