“Heavenly Father,
We worship a God of love, integrity and character.
Help us align our minds, mouths, and lives with Your truth.
Remove all double mindedness and purify our hearts to serve Your agenda—which is love that speaks the truth in a loving way.
There is a false love which masquerades as gracious and kind, but it is self-serving, concerned only with appearing righteous before others.
God, have mercy on us when we slip into performance or image management.
Help us to live purely before You and others so we can accomplish the mission You’ve given us.
Bless our minds to be renewed by Your Word so we will not be seduced into walking on crooked paths.
Forgive us for abandoning Your ways for our own.
We are not God, and we repent for the times when we’ve taken Your place.
Make our conscience sensitive to Your heart so we don’t fall into the enemy’s subtle traps.
Wash us clean from all lies and self-delusion.
We worship You—not because You serve us, but because You are worthy of it all.
