My Precious One,

I see many dreams bursting from your heart. You long for significance as you strive to make an impact.

The idea of waiting on me feels like the biggest squander of time but…don’t give into fears of missing out.

When you reject the urge to control, you make room for my mighty hand to move on your behalf.  This powerful restraint lessens your effort and the chances of running in the wrong direction—which is the biggest waste of precious time!

I see your heart…I know your gifts! Let me point you to the path of greatest fulfillment.  Partner with me on this incredible journey; don’t race towards the finish line only to discover you have no one to celebrate with.”

My Precious One,

When I breathed life into you, I gave a wonderful (and dangerous) gift of free-will, which is the ability to think thoughts and make choices that can suspend my plans.

It’s my grace that sustains you, always making room for my ‘better’.  When you follow my Spirit, I lead you into this ‘better’ and every step taken in my direction leads to a progressive…better.

My blood has radical, transformational power but with this covenant comes great responsibility. Those who’ve received me through repentance and forgiveness must keep their hearts filled with humility, repentance and obedience.

For there is great overcoming power in obeying a great, overcoming God.

Following me won’t be easy but tenacity to honor our covenant has exponential rewards; tangible blessings for this life and eternal treasures as well.

Wisdom sees beyond immediate sacrifice. Wisdom invests in compounding returns.  Follow my Spirit; I alone know the path to plenty.”

The enemy hopes to sideline your mission by distracting you with self-loathing. Don’t get caught in the undertow of self-defeating thoughts; stay aware of your weakness but don’t remain consumed with them.

Remain in me and I’ll convict your heart towards repentance. After penitence is complete, believe without a shadow of doubt, your slate is wiped clean. Only then will the chains of fear, shame and guilt loosen their attachment.

In this new found freedom and clarity, you’ll recognize when a brother or sister is drowning in self-defeat. As they’re being pulled under by the weight of condemnation, I’ll give you the strength to throw them a life-line.

Do you recognize the power of this crucible? Through your personal trials, comes an increase of shared wisdom and greater levels of freedom for others; the priceless glory rewarded to those who go through.”

It’s easy to get lost and confused…but those familiar with my presence, know they can always call home.  For although I’m available to all, those who’ve made themselves available to me are comfortable crying out for salvation. This is the benefit of sharing an intimate connection.

Keep your heart close to mine and I’ll redirect any routes headed towards destruction. Remember, true favor, blessing and joy—the deep longings of the soul—are all fulfilled through me.”

My Precious One, I am always with you—in hardships and trials, I’m a breath away.

I tip my ear when I hear your call. I delight in walking you through difficult terrain. I enjoy supplying you with endless of wisdom and refreshment.  I love to fill your heart with peace when it makes no sense-and I love it when you open your trust so I can.

It is my desire to watch you blossom as I nourish you with the truth of your identity.  Those who seek my face and voice radiate with my presence and shalom.  This is what it takes to fuel your light for the world.”
