“You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.” Isaiah 62:3
I was praising God and thanking Him for sparing me, caring for me, healing me and dealing with me. He has claimed me to be His own and I feel treasured by Him. I felt His joy that I have used my own free will to choose Him back. As I was meditating on His goodness and the vision of being a treasure of God, I began to journal. Let me share a portion of that journal today.
“Lord, thank you for the revelation that I am chosen by you and am a precious treasure to you. Just as you are my treasure and I have chosen you! I know treasure! I am looking at my precious jewelry box. Oh how I love my box of pretty trinkets! The beauty of their sparkle warms my heart and makes me feel polished and pretty.
As I write these things, I get a vision that I am a Jewel to you! That you adorn yourself with me as your prized possession. When I keep myself pure and clean, I gleam like a blinding light to the enemy and you flaunt my life as a crown of Jewel you are proud of! Lord, you treasure me and keep me safe like the precious Jewel you call me. You keep me and hide me away but you also put me on display for the enemy to see, but not touch for I am safely attached to your hand. Your strong and mighty hand.
I then saw a sparkling ring, shining in all of God’s glory! When we choose Righteousness and Holiness we are choosing God! This is the beauty that blinds the enemy and protects us by keeping us in the mighty hand of God. I am a simple gal. I will always like sparkling and shiny things. What a wonderful visual God gave me that He sees us as His precious treasure. He hides us away but He also puts us on display to blind the enemy who hates us.
Let’s shine for God today! The best way to do this is to commit our hearts to holiness for our Father deserves it.
“Heavenly Father,
What a generous God you are!
Out of all of creation, you consider man your prized possession.
You’ve displayed your Reckless love by pouring out all you are for all of us.
We don’t deserve your mercy or grace!
Yet, you give anyway.
What a God you are!
To take earthen vessels and make them trophies of victory!
Lord, remove the dirt from my life; I don’t want to partner with anything that will steal your light from shining through me.
Bless me to be a blessing to you for you are WORTH pouring my whole life into.
I worship you.
Not just with my mouth, but with my life.
In Jesus’ name, bless me to be worthy of your mighty hand of protection and affection. Amen.”
