Did you know Jesus himself needed to get alone with God to be filled up with God’s presence?
If Jesus did this, we know we must:
- Keep our prayer life.
- Guard our time with God.
What does prayer do for you?
- Connects you with God (As your Father and her friend.
- Allows you to come into agreement with God over your life and the chapter you are in.
- Moves things in the spirit realm the devil can’t touch.(Example: Esther fasted and prayed and she saved the Jewish people.)
- Upsets the demonic plans of the enemy. It causes disruption, confusion, and destruction to His plans.
- Brings relationship with the Holy Spirit.
- Allows us to affect the world for change!
- Brings discernment. (When the enemy comes as an angel of light and if we don’t have a prayer life, we will be led astray. Protects us from deception!)
- Increases Revelation.
- Helps us hear God’s direction.
How to become dangerous in the Spirit Realm. We must build our inner man through:
- Prayer
- Fasting
- Reading God’s Word Consistently
We need to:
- Stop making excuses!
- Stop vacillating between Faith and Fear
- Do the work God requires of you to get strong and healthy
- Read the word as this empowers your Spirit man.
- Pray Violently!
- Have zero tolerance with the enemy’s tactics!
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12
Break the stronghold stopping our intimacy with God:
“Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we break every demonic stronghold and destroy every devil, tactic and plan to paralyze our prayer life.
We put fire into the devil’s camp and let the smoke of confusion break up their strategies. Turn their language against each other in the name of Jesus.
We break stagnation of our walk and talk with God. We curse all disruptions, distractions, delays, interruptions and intrusive thoughts to the roots.
Father God, we put the judgement of God upon every demon attached to the assignment of arresting our prayer life and intimacy with you.
We command the enemy to release the destiny he tried to steal off me and my time with God.
We command every devil that tried to weaken us in our ability to hear your voice and instructions to be completely disabled in the name of Jesus.
We break, destroy, cancel and uproot all strategies, meetings and communication over my prayer life with you.
Lord, give me an insatiable hunger and thirst for you, your presence, your truth, your word and your spirit.
I desire to walk with you, be with you and hear from you. I want to obey you all the days of my life.
Let my sleep be deep as I am fully immersed in your presence and hearing your instructions for my day.
Set a fire in my belly, soul and spirit for the things of you so I can draw people into your hope and healing with my own freedom, joy and purpose.
Holy Spirit renew my mind, heart and spirit. We evict every branch of stagnation that attempts to decay these places. Go! In Jesus’ name!
I plead the blood of Jesus over the door of my mind, heart and spirit and seal everything with the Holy Spirit.”
