“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanders, without self control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.” 2 Timothy 3:1-4
Think about society today; not only that but the condition of the church. God wants to protect the church from corruption that surrounds this age. The world and the church are living as if Jesus is not coming back.
When Jesus was with His disciples, He said, “One of you will betray me.” It’s a wise idea to search yourself and your own heart because you don’t want to be deceived into a false sense of security. We are living in deceptive times.
“Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophecied in your name, cast out demons in your name and done many wonders in your name?
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you: depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.” Matthew 7:22-23
“Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol.” Psalm 24:3-4
“But the hour is coming and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” John 4:23
We must worship God with a pure heart. Don’t give God the crubs of your life. He wants a scarifce. Give something to move the heart of God.
“But godliness with contentment is great gain.” 1 Timothy 6:6
We need to come to the place of peace with what God has give us so the enemy cannot use entitlement to put us into ungratefulness. We must steward and guard our salvation! It is a gift but like anything we must reguard it as precious so the enemy cannot steal it. We need to watch our company so that the demons in others do not seduce or affect us. This is how many strong Christians become Lukewarm.
Prayer for Deliverance of Deception:
“Heavenly Father,
We break every deceiving spirit over your mind, every devil that has crept into your home, every demon taking over your family members, every slumbering spirit putting a trance over your Bible reading time and church life. We break the Ahab spirit over your intimate time with God. We put the fire of God on you and every assignment against you and your household.
Holy Spirit put the fire-wall of protection over your mind, body spirit, inistry, family and God-given destiny.
We put on the Armor of god and seal every crack with the Blood of Jesus and apply the final coat of the Holy Spirit.
I command my heart to come into alignment with God’s hear and my mind to attune to God’s mind.
I command my life and steps to be holy and sanctified from the world.”
If you’ve fallen and slopped away from God or listened to a false Holy Spirit or opened a door to deception, let’s pray against that now:
“Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus we renounce everything that has kept you bound.
Think of anything that may have offended God and list them now. Let the devil hear you renounce this to break all legal rights to torment and confuse you.
We break every known and unknown demonic contract.
Lord, fill those voids with the Holy Spirit.
Heal the fragmented places, Lord.
Open my eyes, ears and heart to the things of the Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
In the Spirit realm, take one day at a time with God. It will prevent you from being confused and overwhelmed.
