If you find yourself in a battle that has felt impossible to overcome, you may be in a Spritual war. It’s important not to engage in Spiritual Warfare unless you are on God’s side. To receive salvation and Protection from God, pray this prayer sincerely, from the heart:
“Heavenly Father,
I accept the free gift of salvation named Jesus. He died on the cross for my personal sins and was punished on my behalf. I believe His sacrifice atoned for my sins and His blood washes them away. I believe Jesus rose three days later, proving once and for all that He not only overcame sin but death and it’s curse. We declare we have no fear of Satan because Jesus has allowed us to use His name. I am adopted into the family of God through the blood of Jesus. Through Him, I declare victory. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
“Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.” 2 Corinthians 1:9
We can’t just wait on God.
We must learn offensive strategies.
The devil brings fear so we will lose the fight.
When fear comes at you, say:
“I am fit for the fight. I have godly character in me. It’s what God says about me that’s true, not what I think or what the devil wants me to think!”
“Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.” Colossians 1:12
Faith is the currency of heaven.
The devil will work to dilute and pollute the real estate of your mind.
Steps to stand against his attack:
- Renounce the sin or open door.
- Declare the opposite of what Satan says. Declare God’s promises.
- Confess you are a child of God by faith. Believe what you say! Confess with your mouth so the devil cannot take ground in your mind.
You must beat the devil in your mind before you beat him in the battlefield.
Decisions are lifestyles.
We must decide who is our God and what we will put our mind, body and heart under. Who do we trust? God? The enemy? Ourselves?
“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:13-14
