A few days ago, I got extremely triggered with a family situation. I handled it much better than I have in the past, but I did not heed the call of Wisdom when I felt the nudge NOT to send a text. Instead of listening, I gave into the flesh. This family member was hurting me and according to my Flesh, I needed to tell them.
I had that Flesh hangover after I did. So, I journaled about it, and I would have been just fine keeping this between me and God, He is leading me to share. This is so hard to admit to not only myself, but to you, my brothers and sisters in the faith. I want to be faithful to what God is calling me to do, so here I am. Warts and all.
“And anyone who doesn’t obey The Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.” John 3:36
“Heavenly Father,
I desire to honor your righteousness and holiness. I want to be more like you every day. Daily, I fail you with my selfishness and I hate myself for this.Unless you step in with the power of your Holy Spirit, I will be left to work in the Flesh towards righteousness. Before a Holy and Perfect God, this kind of righteousness is as filthy rags. I cannot be all you’ve designed me to be without more of YOU. Lord, thank you for your mercy and grace; I ask for more, Lord, do not withhold your Spirit from me. I trust you will supply all I need to fulfill my call.”

Your cries align with my desire. In my generous nature, I’ve provided all the grace you need—just keep coming to me and I will continue giving more.What you must do is feed my Spirit within you. When you FAST from the FLESH, your appetite for things of the SPIRIT will increase. This is by divine design. For those who want more, will pay the cost.
Many people allow the opinions of others to stop the growth of the Spirit. You might hear:
“You’re imbalanced.”
“You’re too heavenly minded to have an earthly impact.”
“You’re taking this too far. Calm down.”
Instead of heading to the Spirit, which is growing within, many of my children allow the fear of man and the words they say to steal the treasure set before them. In times of great cleansing, purging and renewal, things can look extreme. This is a season. Do not allow fear of man to rule. Let my Spirit have its way with yours. This is what you’ve been seeking my face and contending for.
When I get close to answering your cries, it’s vital to not allow the opinions of others to affect your mind and heart, which eventually dampens your fire. The Fire of God must be maintained through obedience to my Spirit.Even good people with noble intentions who love you can quench a work of God—if you allow it. Maintain your relationship with me above all others. Do not be afraid of losing the respect of man or missing out on approval of others for in eternity’s scope, this a vapor.
I’m a good Father and will always provide what you need—upgrades included. Don’t be afraid of loss, for I have your full inheritance in the palm of my hand. Keep following my voice, which calls you deeper and higher. The world cannot understand because most of them are not listening for my still, small voice. But, you are mine and I call you NEVER to lead you astray but to show you a new and better way.”
“Heavenly Father,
With every day that passes, the more I realize how much I need you.
Nothing I do matters if my heart does not align with your will. Without you, I cannot love or serve others properly.
Create a new heart and renew a right spirit within me; my spirit is willing, but my flesh is weak.
Lord, cover me with your mercy once again.
Today, I seek your face, will and ways above all others.
Let the temptations of this life and the influence of this world, pale in comparison to your love, healing and presence.
You deserve my all.
Show me where I’ve unknowingly withheld from you.
