- Repent — for real
Not religious behavior. Repentance.
“Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3
Repentance means turning from sin, not excusing it, redefining it, or managing it.
No repentance = not ready.
“God…commands all people everywhere to repent.” Acts 17:30
- Be born again
Church attendance does not save you. Family heritage does not save you.
“You must be born again.” John 3:7
New heart. New allegiance. New life.
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
No regeneration = no readiness.
- Obey Christ (not just believe facts about Him)
Faith that does not obey is dead.
“Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I say?” Luke 6:46
“Here is the perseverance of the saints—those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12
End-time believers are obedient, not lawless.
- Separate from deliberate sin
You cannot prepare for Christ while clinging to what He will judge.
“Without holiness no one will see the Lord.” Hebrews 12:14
“Do not be deceived… the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9–10
Grace is not a license to stay dirty.
- Love the truth (even when it costs you)
Many will fall because they prefer comfort over truth.
“They perished because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.” 2 Thessalonians 2:10
In the end times, deception increases. Only truth-lovers stand.
- Be watchful, not asleep
Spiritual laziness is deadly.
“Therefore stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.” Matthew 24:42
“Let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.” 1 Thessalonians 5:6
- Endure to the end
Not emotional moments. Endurance.
“The one who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:13
End times will expose fake faith.
- Fear God — not man
If you fear people, governments, systems, or loss of comfort more than God, you won’t stand.
“Do not fear those who kill the body… rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28
- Live like you will answer to Christ
Because you will.
“We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 5:10
Bottom line:
If Christ returned tonight, would you be ashamed or confident?
“And now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears we may have confidence and not shrink from Him in shame at His coming.” 1 John 2:28
Read your Bible. Kill sin. Obey Christ. Stay awake. Endure. Love truth. Fear God.
That is end-times readiness according to Scripture — nothing added, nothing softened.
