In this day and age, we need to clearly define who is an evil woman and who is an honorable one.
Evil woman:
“ Wisdom will save you also from the adulterous woman,
from the wayward woman with her seductive words,
who has left the partner of her youth
and ignored the covenant she made before God.
Surely her house leads down to death
and her paths to the spirits of the dead.
None who go to her return
or attain the paths of life.”
Proverbs 2:16-19
“For the lips of the adulterous woman drip honey,
and her speech is smoother than oil;
but in the end she is bitter as gall,
sharp as a double-edged sword.
Her feet go down to death;
her steps lead straight to the grave.
She gives no thought to the way of life;
her paths wander aimlessly, but she does not know it.
Now then, my sons, listen to me;
do not turn aside from what I say.
Keep to a path far from her,
do not go near the door of her house,
lest you lose your honor to others
and your dignity to one who is cruel,
lest strangers feast on your wealth
and your toil enrich the house of another.
At the end of your life you will groan,
when your flesh and body are spent.
You will say, “How I hated discipline!
How my heart spurned correction!
I would not obey my teachers
or turn my ear to my instructors.
And I was soon in serious trouble
in the assembly of God’s people.”
Proverbs 5:3-14
At the window of my house
I looked down through the lattice.
I saw among the simple,
I noticed among the young men,
a youth who had no sense.
He was going down the street near her corner,
walking along in the direction of her house
at twilight, as the day was fading,
as the dark of night set in.
Then out came a woman to meet him,
dressed like a prostitute and with crafty intent.
(She is unruly and defiant,
her feet never stay at home;
now in the street, now in the squares,
at every corner she lurks.)
She took hold of him and kissed him
and with a brazen face she said:
“Today I fulfilled my vows,
and I have food from my fellowship offering at home.
So I came out to meet you;
I looked for you and have found you!
I have covered my bed
with colored linens from Egypt.
I have perfumed my bed
with myrrh, aloes and cinnamon.
Come, let’s drink deeply of love till morning;
let’s enjoy ourselves with love!
My husband is not at home;
he has gone on a long journey.
He took his purse filled with money
and will not be home till full moon.”
With persuasive words she led him astray;
she seduced him with her smooth talk.
All at once he followed her
like an ox going to the slaughter,
like a deer stepping into a noose
till an arrow pierces his liver,
like a bird darting into a snare,
little knowing it will cost him his life.
Proverbs 7:6-23
“The mouth of an adulterous woman is a deep pit;
a man who is under the Lord’s wrath falls into it.” Proverbs 22:14
Vs a Woman of excellence:
“A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.
Her husband has full confidence in her
and lacks nothing of value.
She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.
She selects wool and flax
and works with eager hands.
She is like the merchant ships,
bringing her food from afar.
She gets up while it is still night;
she provides food for her family
and portions for her female servants.
She considers a field and buys it;
out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
She sets about her work vigorously;
her arms are strong for her tasks.
She sees that her trading is profitable,
and her lamp does not go out at night.
In her hand she holds the distaff
and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
She opens her arms to the poor
and extends her hands to the needy.
When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
She makes coverings for her bed;
she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
Her husband is respected at the city gate,
where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
She makes linen garments and sells them,
and supplies the merchants with sashes.
She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.
She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
Many women do noble things,
but you surpass them all.”
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
Honor her for all that her hands have done,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.” Proverbs 31

It’s been hard for me to ignore the Bonnie Blue and Lilly Philips fiasco. As a woman, this shameless celebration of sin and depravity, gives me trepidation for the future generation. Women hold power. A lot of young women don’t understand this until they reach a certain age. Before they are mentally mature, they wield power they were never equipped to handle. If she doesn’t understand her value, she will settle for pennies on the dollar.
You see, for years, I lied to myself thinking me modeling for Playboy or being a stripper wasn’t hurting anybody but myself. But, this was a LIE.
How many married men did I entertain at the cost of a marriage? How many wives suffered the pain betrayal because I was happy to take what their husbands spent on me? Did my bills get paid by someone’s college tuition money? Family inheritance? Was this another person’s rent or child support payment? Will this person go into debt to pay for something they can’t afford? Did I consider the shame my actions put upon my family? What example was I being to my little sisters? I never considered these things because I was too wrapped up taking care of myself, putting my needs above the concerns of others. I was utterly SELFISH. I’m not proud of my old life because it reflects the evil, I allowed into my heart; which quickly perverted my gifts and twisted my calling.
Society cannot function if every member only thinks about themselves. We’ve gotten to the point where most people live very isolated lives, which allows depravity to go unchecked. A true friend will let you know when you are getting off the path. But, an isolated person will never get that memo.
The Lilly and Bonnie saga is a race to see who can become the most depraved woman. These women seem to live a virtual life. They don’t enjoy real relationships or friendships (as far as I can tell from their interviews) This ‘fake’ intimacy is tricking their brains and bodies into thinking they are getting their needs met when all they’re doing is feeding the flesh that will ultimately destroy them and others.
What we do does affect others. Even if we may never meet them in person or remember their name. In the end, these women are opening themselves to mental health, body issues, physical risks and future relationship problems. As they rack up cash which will be quickly spent, they imprint themselves with a Scarlett letter society will struggle blotting out.
The good news is these women are still alive. Which means God’s grace is upon them.
“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.” Romans 5:6
I can attest that God can really set you free from the chains of sin and mistaken identity. No matter how ugly my past, God no longer sees a woman who tripped up men and sullied my own reputation. This is because I humbled myself before a perfect and Holy God. I saw there was nothing in me that was good or redeemable, but took God’s mercy and provision.He paid the price for my wickedness by sending Jesus, the Son of God, to die on my behalf. He did this for and Lily’s and Bonnie’s, sins, too.
But how can God forgive if you never repent?
“Such is the way of an adulterous woman: she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, “I have done no wickedness.” Proverbs 30:20
“Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.” 2 Corinthians 7:10
Ladies! Your value does NOT lie in being viral or extreme. If you fall for this, you will be a slave to the lust and limitless demands of others and your own insatiable greed.
I can’t speak for Lily or Bonnie, but when I was their age, I suffered from extreme rejection of my father. There was no foundation of love, affection or value. I needed to find it somewhere so I began searching for approval through others. Approval of people just as jacked up as me.
It took me becoming completely broken; I lost my job, tons of weight, half my hair and eventually my sanity before I realized I listened to the wrong people. These people didn’t love or value me. Now that I had nothing to offer, I was disposable.
It was in this broken place where I became humble enough to reach out to God and give Jesus a FULL chance. I did not go half in. I told Jesus if He could do something with my life, He could have it. I fully surrendered and this was the beginning of my redemption story.
Let’s pray for these two women as they are leading millions off the cliff of depravity for clicks and it is costing them far more than they know.
“Heavenly Father,
You created us to be a blessing and not a curse!
You created us for beauty, expansion, love and connection.
The enemy has seduced this world, and he is doing it through ignorant men and woman who are slaves to their own flesh.
These people champion the weakness of others to glorify themselves.
Lord, have mercy!
We have made ourselves an idol!
What an abomination.
Have mercy on those inspired by desperation, greed and skewed identity.
Provide a way out! Sober their minds and straighten their paths.
Send a messenger to warn: “this is the way of destruction!”
Remove the blinders to their own corruption.
We call on every seed of goodness and truth planted in their youth.
Water them by your spirit.
Bless those caught in the snare of this wicked seduction.
Let them repent before it’s too late.
Lord, have mercy.
Have mercy.
Cover this generation with your blood of protection and divine revelation.
Let the echoes of repentance flood the heavens for then will we witness the goodness of God in the land of the living.
Let what the enemy meant for evil, spurn a revival of repentance, holiness and wholeness in you.
In Jesus’ name, amen.”
