“But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.” Psalm 31:14
“My Precious One,
When I invaded your world with my Spirit and truth, you surrendered disbelief for faith in me. Since that time, very day, hour and minute, you must make the same choice.
When circumstances don’t match your prayers, trusting me is challenging. It’s difficult to hear my invitation to believe the unbelievable among the din of disappointment.
The Israelites experienced my favor, blessing and miracle power but when problems arose, they shifted the focus off of me, onto the challenge. This opened the door for fear, lack, independence and rebellion.
My generous hands were restrained by their forgetfulness because my goodness, mercy and grace were not given faith to move. So, the blessings I had remained with me.
Don’t allow things not going your way to stop my hand of favor. Guard your heart and mouth from grumbling unbelief and doubt over your situation.
When you feel challenged to give up, remember my precious Israel. They were blessed with my presence, favor and power, yet they still brought upon themselves problems that could have been avoided. Thoughts of lack blocked remembrance of my miracles and provision. They stopped the hand of God from working on their behalf—with their own words! If they would have focused on my good nature and provision, they would have seen more of it.
Challenges are reminders to focus on me and when you do, I ignite hope, peace and patience.
Your day of redemption comes with me and I will not let you down; don’t drop your faith for a lie.”
